UV-C light generates / produces ozone (O 3) in connection with the<br />

natural oxygen (O 2) content in the air; this happens in the same<br />

way as with sun rays. By using this method no harmful nitrogen<br />

oxides (NOX) are created.<br />

Ozone has the ability to combine with organic substances in the<br />

air such as Nicotine, and the ozone oxidizes these. Thereby the<br />

bacteria, vira and spores present in the air are being eliminated.<br />

During the cleaning process the odour air in the room is being<br />

sucked into the Ozone Cleaning system, and it passes the special<br />

HBC lamp. In connection with this, the treated and disinfected air<br />

ozone using UV-C lamps to create<br />

photolytic oxidation. Photolytic<br />

oxidation is a combination of<br />

photolysis and ozonolysis.<br />

This process leaves no volatile<br />

compounds. Photolytic oxidation<br />

can be used everywhere.<br />

While many high voltage ozone generators<br />

claim to produce up to 10000 mg/h. it’s highly<br />

doubtful. That equates to over 5,000 ppm.<br />

Listeria and salmonella are killed at 10 ppm.<br />

The thing is, when you produce ozone with<br />

high voltage you always produce nitrogen<br />

oxides. Nitrogen oxides (mainly NO and NO2),<br />

or NOx, is the generic term for a group of highly<br />

reactive gases.<br />

any plastic, leather or fabric<br />

Also when measuring ozone output, the<br />
