N.B. Haynes attended Colby College in<br />
his hometown of Waterville, Maine, and<br />
graduated from the Rhode Island School of<br />
Design with a Bachelor of Fine Arts/Painting in<br />
1951 and a Bachelor of Science/Architecture<br />
in 1953. Haynes established the architectural<br />
firm of Haynes & Associates in Providence<br />
in 1968, and from 1973 to 2005, taught<br />
