Note: Russell G. Crook is listed as a sculptor,<br />
plaster modeler, and potter. He exhibited<br />
extensively at the Boston Society of Arts<br />
and Crafts from 1899-1927. He was also<br />
a member of the Wayland Massachusetts<br />
Society from 1906-1912, where he was<br />
known for his animal decoration on<br />
earthenware. There are two examples shown<br />
in Earliest Reflections, Furnishings From<br />
the family of Edwin B. Sears, a catalogue<br />
published by the Society for the Preservation<br />
of New England Antiquities (Historic New<br />
England), p. 27, and also a piece in the<br />
Newark Museum collection.<br />
