in pencil l.r., also signed and inscribed<br />

“Donald C. Kelley...printed North Adams” in<br />

pen on the backing.<br />

Monoprint on paper/board, sight size 46 1/2 x<br />

35 1/2 in., framed.<br />

Condition: Tear to sheet l.l. quadrant, not<br />

examined out of frame.<br />

N.B. Donald C. Kelley trained at the School<br />

of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, from<br />

1952 to 1957. During a two year period<br />

abroad, he met fellow Museum School alum<br />

Cy Twombly in Mykonos, Greece. Kelley<br />

attended Yale School of Art and Architecture<br />

in 1960 where he received his Bachelors and<br />

Masters degrees. He has had a number of<br />

one-man and group exhibits in New England,<br />

and several art residencies at the Wurlitzer<br />

Foundation and The MacDowell Colony.<br />
