St. Gregory Celebrates Grand Opening in Suzhou, China
The local integrated lifestyle management brand successfully makes its foray into mainland
China, the first for a home-grown wellness establishment.
[Singapore, April 2011] St. Gregory at Pan Pacific Suzhou officially opened its doors to
guests on April 14, 2010, marking the start of the brand’s long-term expansion in mainland
China, and allowing business travellers, tourists and local residents alike to rest, rejuvenate
and enhance their well-being in an accessible yet tranquil location.
With outlets already present in Singapore, Malaysia and Japan, St. Gregory is set to take
Asia-Pacific by storm with its latest opening. A lifestyle brand under the Pan Pacific Hotels
Group, St. Gregory is a pioneer in the hotel spa and wellness industry in this region, boasting
wide-reaching infrastructure, benefits and an excellent customer track record for the last 14
years.

Located centrally in a district surrounded by key attractions such as Lake Taihu and
Ming/Qing Dynasty Gardens, St. Gregory at Pan Pacific Suzhou makes the perfect setting for
a destination spa.
With a subtle touch of luxury marked by a bronze archway entrance and a mother-of-pearl
feature wall in the reception area, the refined interiors of St. Gregory blend in seamlessly with
Pan Pacific Suzhou’s rich artistic architecture reminiscent of Chinese palaces of yore, flanked
by a magnificent backdrop of traditional gardens.
Covering 1860.84sqm, St. Gregory Suzhou features a total of six treatment rooms including a
Foot Reflexology room and Couple Treatment room complete with a shower and twin Jacuzzi
bath. Guests will enjoy their luxury treatments based on French marine-based labels Thalgo
and Thal’ion, and can choose from a wide variety of head-to-toe therapies including the
signature Thalgo Clear Expert Brightening Treatment, Thalgo Thalgogive Firming Treatment
St. Gregory Aromatic Body Bliss Massage and more.
St. Gregory at Pan Pacific Suzhou will also unveil the brand new St. Gregory Wellness
Suites, each suite a spacious and luxurious duplex on the Pan Pacific Club level, featuring
in-built Jacuzzi baths and a serene courtyard view, most ideal for an escape from hectic
city life.

2011
St. Gregory took top honours at the World Luxury Spa Awards 2011, bagging Best Luxury
Spa Group and Best Luxury Hotel Spa (Pan Pacific Singapore and PARKROYAL Kuala
Lumpur) awards.
St. Gregory’s Tui Na Massage was awarded Best Muscle-Relief treatment in The Singapore
Women’s Weekly Best of Beauty Salons, Spas and Services.
St. Gregory also took top honours in Harper’s Bazaar (Singapore) Spa Awards, winning Best
Skin Clarifying Facial for the St. Greogyr Purifying Facial, and Most Pampering Eye Treat for
Elemis Japanese Silk Eye Zone Therapy.
2010
St. Gregory at PARKROYAL Penang Resort was awarded the “Best Body Loving Treatment”
for its Signature Traditional Spa Treatment in the Harper’s Bazaar Spa Awards.
2009 and 2010
For two years running, St. Gregory at Marina Mandarin was awarded Best Asian-Therapy
Based Massage in The Singapore Women’s Weekly Best of Beauty Salons, Spas and
