Getting to The Model
By Car: Coming from Dublin/Galway follow the
N4 onto the Sligo ring road through several sets
of traffic lights until you cross Hughes Bridge.
Take the right turn as you cross the bridge onto
Markievicz Rd. (signposted for The Model).
Follow the one-way system, taking a left onto
Connaughton Rd. Continue straight up the hill.
You will see The Model building on your right,
then pull into the car park. This is a County
Council daily rate car park and costs €3 for
the day. After 6.30pm and all day Sundays the
car park is free. Please note you can access a
smaller hourly rate car park from this large car
park or directly from The Mall.
