Kaum zu glauben, aber es liegt ein Vierteljahrhundert Ganter hinter uns! Was vor
25 Jahren in einer kleinen Einliegerwohnung in Waldkirch begann, ist heute ein
internationales Unternehmen mit über 250 Angestellten. Diese Entwicklung beruhte
im Wesentlichen auf dem Know-how und der enormen Einsatzbereitschaft unserer
Mitarbeiterinnen und Mit arbeiter sowie auf der Wandlungsfähigkeit des Unternehmens.
Das veranschaulicht nicht zuletzt unsere Unternehmens-Chronik auf eindrückliche
Weise (S. 10–17).
Besonders erfreulich ist dabei, dass sich über all die Jahre hinweg, trotz des enormen
Wachstums und all der Veränderungen, ein besonderer Teamgeist im Unternehmen
bewahrt hat. Zwar ist die Ganter-Familie heute an vielen, zum Teil weit entfernten
Standorten zu Hause, doch der Zusammenhalt hat darunter nicht gelitten. Diese
Kons tanz im Inneren ist und war immer maßgeblich für unseren Erfolg, was sich etwa
zeigt, wenn sich Mitarbeiter und Mitarbeiterinnen an ihren Weg mit Ganter erinnern
(S. 38–45). Hinter all ihren persönlichen Rekorden steht nicht zuletzt dieser ganz
besondere Ganter-Teamspirit.
Und noch etwas hat uns bei aller Flexibilität und Innovationsfreude geprägt: Wir
wussten immer, woher wir kommen, in handwerklicher wie in geografischer Hinsicht.
Ich bin zutiefst überzeugt davon, dass uns genau diese Mischung – eine große
Offenheit für das Neue einerseits und eine gewisse Bodenständigkeit andererseits –
auch für die Zukunft wappnet. Darauf, Ganter in diesem Sinne für das Kommende
fit zu machen, werde ich mich zukünftig als Gesellschafter und Beirat konzen trieren
können. Mein Dank gilt allen Kunden, Architekten, Partnern sowie den Mit arbeiterinnen
und Mitarbeitern, die Ganter in den letzten 25 Jahren ihr Vertrauen geschenkt
haben. Dieses auch in den nächsten Jahren zu verdienen, ist mein größtes Ziel.
It’s hard to believe that a quarter of a century of Ganter lies behind us! What began
25 years ago in a small flat in Waldkirch is now an international company with over
250 employees. This development was funda mentally based on the expertise and enormous
commitment of our employees as well as the company’s adaptability. This has all
been impressively illustrated in our company timeline (pp. 10–17).
It is particularly gratifying that, despite the enormous growth and all the changes, the company
has maintained a special team spirit over all these years. Although the Ganter family
is now based in many locations, some of them far away, our cohesion has not suffered
as a result. This constancy within the company is and has always been decisive for our
success, as is shown, for example, when employees look back on their journey with
Ganter (pp. 38–45). The key to these personal successes is not least this extraordinary
Ganter team spirit.
And something else has shaped us despite all our flexibility and innovative spirit:
we always remembered where we came from, in terms of craftsmanship and location.
I am deeply convinced that it is precisely this combination – a great openness to new
ideas on one side and a certain down-to-earth attitude on the other – that will equip us
for the future. As a partner and member of the Advisory Board, I will be able to concentrate
on making Ganter fit for the future in this sense. My thanks go to all customers,
architects, partners and employees who have placed their trust in Ganter over the past
25 years. My greatest goal is to continue to earn this trust in the coming years.
