Ordinance 2 regarding the measurements of the<br />

combat of coronavirus (status 30 April 2020)<br />

Entering Switzerland based on current ordinance 2<br />

• In principle forbidden, if entering from a high risk<br />

country with some exceptions<br />

German national is residing in<br />

Konstanz, Germany and is working for<br />

the ABC Consulting Ltd in Zurich.<br />

Due to the current situation he is also<br />

working from home since 15 March.<br />

He is usually working 20% from home.<br />

• Applications filed before 25 March 2020, but which were not fully approved: new: start review of those applications as<br />

of 11 May 2020<br />

• EU/EFTA ntionals: recommendation only to approve for employees of mainly public interest<br />

• new: local employment: notification process possible in case employment contract issued before 25 March 2020<br />

• new: local employment: entry should be allowed without notification process as long as employment contract<br />

issued before 25 March 2020 and lease starting as of 1 April 2020<br />

• new: assigments up to 90 days: notification process possible in case the service agreement is dated before 25<br />

March 2020<br />

• Family reunification / students / pensioner: in general for EU/EFTA nationals not recommended<br />

• new: for family members of Swiss citizens and EU/EFTA nationals possible as of 11 May 2020<br />
