World Sports Chicago Scholarship<br />

There is a fantastic opportunity for some Chicago high school student athletes. To be eligible,<br />

applicants must be High School Juniors in the Fall of 2012, students that live in Chicago and<br />

attend a Chicago school or are homeschooled in Chicago, maintain a 2.0 unweighted G.P.A. or<br />

higher, and participate in an eligible Olympic/Paralympic sport for two seasons in the last<br />

three years.<br />

World Sports Chicago will select up to 50 Chicago high school juniors who will become World<br />

Sports Chicago Scholars and receive a yearlong Chicago Scholars mentoring program to help<br />

with the college admissions process and World Sports Chicago Scholars will then be eligible<br />

for one of ten renewable college scholarships worth up to $5,000 annually ($20,000 total)<br />

supported by World Sports Chicago and Chicago Donors.<br />
