Born the fifth of seven children on a small family farm in the rural Irish town
of Kiltimagh, Brendan learned the value of hard work at an early age. Perhaps it
was his visits as a boy to country cattle auctions with his father where Brendan
acquired the basics of sales and negotiation. These humble roots remain the
foundation for the astute and well-respected businessman Brendan is today, as
well as the spark in his work helping people plant their own roots as they make
one of life’s most important purchases: a home.

Today, Brendan lives with his lovely wife Ellen, a Denver native, in the charming
Greenwood Village neighborhood of Green Oaks. The two met in 1982 while
Ellen was traveling to Ireland to compete in an Irish step-dancing championship.
They were married in 1984 at the historic, twelfth-century Ballintubber Abbey
in western Ireland in 1984. After starting their family in Ireland, the Morans
moved to Denver in 1992. They are blessed with six amazing children, most of
whom have left the nest, and Ellen’s wonderful extended family nearby.
