Felt | Side Chair PrototypeA prototype in our ever-evolving Felt Collection, this chair features aplush seating surface and back made of layers of premium naturalmerino wool felt. The stack is held together by STACKLAB’s signatureplated-steel clamping hardware.The felt stack contains multiple layers of Aubergine felted wool. Aninterstitial bronze-plated steel brace identical in thickness to a felt layer,stiffens the stack to prevent racking.This Chair is supplied with an ergonomic driver that aids in tighteningor releasing the felt clamping hardware. The driver’s tip fits into the slotatop the clamping fastener, making it easy to reorder or tighten the feltlayers.To minimize cutting waste, felt layers are sourced from an onlinedatabase of available offcuts and end-of-bolt material.A new version of this chair is in development, and will be slated forunlimited production.
