This test case will be used for user acceptance. Eighth Deliverable – Reporting Architecture The consultant will be required to study the existing user manuals and other technical literature. The consultant will further identify the user group and stakeholders who has an interest in this module and consult with them to determine the requirements. The following items must be delivered, ● A detail list of requirements for this module, ○ The list must be organized in order of expected dependency ○ Each of the requirements must be well described and where applicable be accompanied with diagrams ○ Where applicable, it is expected that the consultant will use mockup screens to explain a specific concept ○ The consultant will further have to study the existing system and document the user inputs to describe the required changes. ● A detail list of users and stakeholders ○ Each requirement must be linked to a minimum of one user with contact details. Tenth Deliverable - Future Enhancements of the System It is expected that additional software modules will be developed and integrated into the IPPIS solution. A preliminary investigation identified the following modules for which a requirements analysis and high-level description of functionality is required and must be documented, ● Career Management ● Succession Planning ● Job Evaluation ● HR Strategy ● Employee Relations ● Reward Planning ● Contract Management for temporary workers and consultants ● Employee Conflict Management ● Organogram for a specific individual / department or organization
For this deliverable, the consultant will be expected to deliver only a high-level description of each module. Of importance is the expected development / Integration time-lines, order of importance. REQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCE OF THE REGIONAL CONSULTANT The consultant must be knowledgeable in Human Resource Management Information Systems as well as compiling detail software requirements for software development purposes. The consultant must also have adequate experience as a Business Analyst. The consultant will also be expected to show leadership resolving technical project issues which may result from various stakeholder requirements / differences. Lastly, the consultant will have professional presentation skills as these will be required from time to time during project meetings. General Experience Required � Experience of five (5) years in preparing business requirements, working with use cases, business process modeling or data modeling, or preparing use-case or sequence diagrams. � Project management skills and/or certification. � Strong familiarity with HR IT systems, including requirements gathering, documentation and related project management experience � Analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills. � Good at handling and meeting deadlines. � Multi-tasking skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities and keep up with project scope changes. � Able to work well with both internal and external users/stakeholders. � Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to audiences including end users, managers, and members of the IT team and the ability to succinctly summarize business and technical requirements in both written and oral formats. � Self-starter with leadership skills in order to take charge of or facilitate requirement-gathering sessions. � Strong attention to detail organizational skills. � Quick learner who is easily able to learn new products, systems, applications and technologies. Specific Experience Required ● 5+ years Project Management Experience. ● Proven ability to write effective system and process documentation (including business and system requirements, business process diagrams and data flow diagrams).
