Humera Khan is the Executive Director<br />
of Muflehun, a think tank<br />
specializing in preventing radicalization<br />

the American Muslim community.<br />
Her combined research <strong>and</strong> experience<br />
in security strategy <strong>and</strong> Islamic Studies provide<br />
analysis of recruitment <strong>and</strong> prevention mechanisms<br />
for domestic radicalization <strong>and</strong> violent extremism.<br />
Khan specializes in scenario planning <strong>and</strong> strategy<br />
formulation using agent-based modeling, morphological<br />
analysis, <strong>and</strong> system dynamics. Previously, as<br />
a principal at a DC-area think tank, she designed <strong>and</strong><br />
integrated methodologies for threat anticipation <strong>and</strong><br />
risk assessment for the Singapore government Risk Assessment<br />
<strong>and</strong> Horizon Scanning initiative. Khan holds<br />
an SM degree in Technology <strong>and</strong> Policy <strong>and</strong> in Nuclear<br />
Engineering, <strong>and</strong> an SB degree in Art <strong>and</strong> Design<br />
<strong>and</strong> in Nuclear Engineering, all from the Massachusetts<br />
Institute of Technology. She also has an M.A. in<br />
Islamic Studies from Cordoba University, an affiliate<br />
seminary of the Washington Theological Consortium.<br />

in Pakistan. The group<br />
owns <strong>and</strong> operates TV1, Waseb,<br />
<strong>and</strong> News1, which are twenty-four hour satellite TV<br />
channels on AsiaSat. The group also owns Radio1,<br />
with FM channels in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad,<br />
<strong>and</strong> Gawader. Interflow Group is also one of the<br />
leading players in the field of advertising <strong>and</strong> media<br />
buying, with companies including Interflow, Ogilvy<br />
& Mather, Jupiter, Mindshare, Pyramid Productions,<br />
ContactPlus, EventPlus, OutdoorPlus, <strong>and</strong> CinePlus.<br />
Khan is a patron of the Cancer Society <strong>and</strong> a Trustee<br />
of Fatimid Foundation, Sir Ziauddin Medical Foundation,<br />
<strong>and</strong> Iqra University. He frequently lectures<br />
at business institutions in Pakistan <strong>and</strong> is a member<br />
of the Advisory Council of the Lahore University of<br />

Jamal Khashoggi is the General<br />
Manager <strong>and</strong> Editor of Alwaleed,<br />
a twenty-four hour news channel.<br />
He has served as an advisor<br />
to the Saudi Arabian Ambassador<br />
in Washington, DC, an advisor to<br />
the Saudi Arabian Ambassador in London, Editorin-Chief<br />
of Alwatan, <strong>and</strong> Deputy Editor-in-Chief of<br />
Arab News. He was a correspondent for the London<br />
based Al-Hayat Arabic daily in Saudi Arabia, Al-Sharq<br />
Al-Awsat Arabic daily, Al-Majallah, <strong>and</strong> Al-Muslimoon.<br />
Khashoggi was also the Managing Editor <strong>and</strong><br />
acting Editor-in-Chief of Al-Madinah Arabic daily, a<br />
reporter for Saudi Gazette daily, <strong>and</strong> an Assistant Manager<br />
of the information center at Okaz newspaper. He<br />
has written a weekly column in Al Madina newspaper,<br />
Beirut’s Daily Star, <strong>and</strong> Kuwait’s Alrai Alam (later<br />
Alwatan), <strong>and</strong> had a regular column in Alwatan. He<br />
received his B.A. in Business Administration from Indiana<br />
