R: The kids are used as pawns in this
situation. They’re really used and it’s not
right. The fact that this film could be
made in this country and still can be
made in this country is really important. I
think it’s important to recognise that this
is what’s happening in this country. It’s
not just America.
M: There are certain things that create a
huge fanfare at the time but then fizzle
out to nothing and there are some things
that get under your skin. I mean really get
under your skin and have a lasting
impact. Your documentary was like that
for me. It’s something that will dictate the
direction I take in my awareness raising
work from hereon. Thank you so much
