2 FundamentalsBattery LevelsThe Magellan RoadMate receiver has aninternal battery that is charging whenever thereceiver is connected to external power 1 .2. Tap the speaker button to mute thevolume, or tap the ‘+’ or ‘-’ buttons toraise or lower the volume.Note: The battery can only be serviced byauthorized Magellan repair facilities.Viewing the Battery Level Indicator1. While viewing the Map screen, tap onthe Menu button in the right corner.2. The battery level indicator is located inthe upper right corner of the Main Menu,just below the satellite signal indicator.Green bars indicate battery level.Speaker VolumeChanging the Volume from the MapScreen1.
