Position the half-tight<strong>en</strong>ed mask<br />
on the facial cuff and pull the cuff<br />
slightly towards the back. Smooth<br />
out any wrinkles in the hood.<br />
Ev<strong>en</strong>ly pull the straps of the mask towards<br />
the back. The sealing lip of the<br />
mask must rest on the facial cuff, not<br />
on the suit material or seam.<br />

Attach the compressed air breathing<br />
apparatus and/or connect an<br />
external breathing air supply.<br />
