Dear Dear r Friends Friends What a year of ministry for Lutherans Outdoors in South Dakota! Over 10,800 people have been served by our camps and programs. We are almost to our goal in the “All Are Welcome” capital campaign. Many projects have been completed and construction has begun on Joy Ranch with an anticipated completion date of Thanksgiving 2009. More importantly, stories continue to be shared about the impact of outdoor ministry in the lives of young and old alike. Your camps have been busy places of ministry that happens year-round. I am thankful for the hard work and dedication of the year-round staff, the part-time staff and a host of volunteers who provide safe places for rest, renewal and recreation. I am thankful for your support through your gifts of time, fi nances, prayers and participation. I ask for your continued gifts of support, especially for our day-to-day operations, as we move forward into this current year. I wish to thank the Board of Directors for their faithful partnership and dedication to Lutherans Outdoors. Their work, on behalf of the congregations, has been true to the mission and core values of the organization. Lutherans Outdoors in South Dakota continues to lift up our mission statement and core values. These drive us forward into the future with vision and purpose.
