<strong>Lutherans</strong> <strong>Outdoors</strong>’ Annual Meeting opened with a drum cadence as<br />
Neil Sorensen, Executive Director, introduced the singing group, “The<br />
Choirboys”.<br />
Campaign Chair Scott Parsley announced the campaign total-to-date,<br />
$3,985,000. Scott asked for additional pledges from the assembly<br />
which brought the campaign total to $4 million.<br />
Scott introduced Bishop Emeritus, Rev. Norm Eitrheim who<br />
recognized the 48 congregations who have completed their “All Are<br />
Welcome” campaigns. Rev. Eitrheim then reminded the remaining<br />
congregations, “We need your help to reach the goal of $5 million!”.<br />
Rev. Les Svendsen, Board Chair, called the business meeting to<br />
order at 12:00 PM. After an opening prayer, the Secretary’s <strong>report</strong><br />
was approved.<br />
Treasurer Kurt Osborne gave a brief Treasurer’s <strong>report</strong>, noting<br />
that a full audited <strong>report</strong> is available at the <strong>Lutherans</strong> <strong>Outdoors</strong><br />
Administrative office. Motion to approve was seconded and passed.<br />
Neil Sorensen presented his <strong>report</strong>, followed by Rev. Les Svendsen<br />
who presented the Board Chair’s <strong>report</strong>. Pastor Les then recognized<br />
and thanked off-going board members, Rev. Kevin Clark, Jenny<br />
Nelson, and Rev. Don Niedringhaus.<br />
Rev. Tom Christenson offered a prayer.<br />
The Choirboys, board, and staff led the entire assembly in a song, “I’d<br />
Like to Build the World a Camp”.<br />
Neil Sorensen thanked all for participating in LO’s Annual Meeting.<br />
Meeting adjourned.
