The Potion<br />

Hanna and Nea met in class in<br />
Grade 3. They were introduced<br />
to one another by a different<br />
friend because they both loved<br />
doing gymnastics and dances<br />
at school at lunch.<br />
One day they were walking<br />
home from school and they<br />
heard something coming from<br />
a house and they went to check<br />
if the person was alright. It was<br />
a scientist who was making<br />
a potion and it went wrong. A<br />
virus spread to a gorilla and he<br />
got sick, and then he turned<br />
into a monster called Sicky.<br />
Sicky lived in a dusty, messy,<br />
gooey, nasty house in the<br />
forest. Before he got sick, he<br />
was going to make friends. He<br />
didn’t know he was sick until he<br />
started growing gooey things<br />
on his face.<br />
When Sicky went to the city,<br />
everyone saw that he was a<br />
monster and started running<br />
from him. Nea and Hanna ran<br />
to the gas station. They saw<br />
some of their friends at the gas<br />
station. They told their friends,<br />
“Go home before you get sick<br />
too. We will take care of Sicky.”<br />
They went up to Sicky and said,<br />
“Sicky please calm down, you’re<br />
being very mad and scaring<br />
them. You’re also making<br />
people sick from your breath.”<br />
