about the designer<br />
The Jewel of Quilting<br />
<strong>Jackie</strong> is an Ambassador for Bernina<br />
and has authored twelve quilting books. She<br />
is best known for her geometric patterns,<br />
creating new and expanded designs from<br />
traditional shapes. Her quilts have been<br />
featured in numerous quilting magazines.<br />
For 21 years she shared her talents as a<br />
Traveling Quilt Instructor, which awarded<br />
her the Jewel Pierce Patterson scholarship<br />
in 2006 in honor of her work.<br />
Today she continues to share her<br />
talents as a fabric designer for Benartex.<br />
