Thank You!
Dear Friends,
2020 has been a year for the record books. Everyone, everywhere,
has been grappling with illness, stress, economic
challenges—and worse.
Imagine adding to that the trauma of having a child in
the hospital—or being that child!
In this year of the pandemic, there are two reasons we
need you to be even more generous than usual.
First, our strict infection control procedures—put in
place as a result of COVID 19—mean that we are unable to
accept the hundreds of generous toy donations typically
dropped off at the hospital each year.
And second, our patients and their families need the
comfort of the items in this book more than ever before.
Because even in the midst of a hospital stay—in the midst
of a pandemic—a hug from a cuddly stuffed animal, a few
moments of distraction, or a warm meal for a parent at
her child’s bedside will make a world of difference.
Will you choose a gift from the following pages—and
send it with love?
With my warmest thanks and appreciation,
Kevin F. Walsh
Vice President Office of Development
