The Terraplanes
Sometimes a
band comes
along that
just fits,
hugely talented
individuals
that together
produce a
sound that’s
powerful and
vibrant.
The Bristol
blues band ‘The
Terrplanes’ is
one such band
It’s often said that a band is the sum of its parts,
a mix of talent, drive and emotion. Some bands,
whilst having talented individuals, fail to mix
cohesively and in consequence their fire burns
out quickly.
Having just released their highly acclaimed debut EP,
Midnight Train, the band is now set for an exciting
future. The driving force behind the band is guitarist
and vocalist Nick Scrase who is keen to point out
that the seminal moment for the band came when he
met up with Blues harmonica player Eduardo Allen
(Featured in issue 1 of RT).
Whilst the band chose to take their own path to
success, not relying of an external management
team Nick is quick to acknowledge the part that
MAS Records has played in their development and in
helping them fulfil their undoubted potential.
MAS Records was the brainchild of Internationally
renowned artist Robert Plant, the ex vocalist of Led
Zeppelin. Set up as a charity MAS Records mentors
promising acts to achieve set goals. As they take on
