HarmonicaUK

Previously know as The National Harmonica

League, Harmonica UK is the overarching

charitable organization for the instrument in the

UK, although it does boast members from all

four corners of the World.

Whether you’ve been playing the harmonica

for a long time, or you’ve just picked one up,

HarmonicaUK offers something for everyone.

Providing a forum for players, teachers, music

therapists, collectors, harmonica repairers,

manufacturers, and retailers alike.

Where can you

go to learn

about the

Harmonica,

meet like

minded people

and help in

protecting the

future of this

worthwhile

and interesting

instrument?

Although the bulk of the membership plays the

Diatonic harmonica, although there is also a vibrant

following for the Chromatic Harmonica too, the

organization also covers the lesser known Tremolo,

Orchestral, Bass or Chord harmonicas.

In fact if it’s about the harmonica, new or old,

HarmonicaUK just about covers all the bases.

Up until recently most new members have probably

stumbled across HarmonicaUK by pure accident. For

some time its been the ‘Best kept secret’ amongst

harmonica enthusiast and players. But recently

there has been a concerted campaign to evangelise

the benefits of the instrument to a new, younger

audience. At the time of writing this RT understands

that there are exciting projects in the pipeline that will

move the organisation towards a new audience.
