to contain the third canto with a verse in praise of coffee (pp. 25-

brown dampstains to fore-margin not affecting text, bound with
seven other contemporary works including Vanbrugh (John), The
Provok’d Husband, or A Journey to London ..., 1st ed., 1782, some
browning and a little worm tracing to final leaves, plus Ralph
(James), Night: A Poem, in four books, 1st ed., 1728, plus four

Herbert of Ickleton, Cambridgeshire, contemp. calf, gilt dec. spine
with panels containing gilt intertwined ‘L’ monogram with crown
above of King Louis XV of France, joints cracked, 4to
Sir Robert George Wyndham Herbert, GCB (1831-1905), was the first Premier
of Queensland, Australia from 1859-1866. He was born in Brighton, the only
son of the Hon. Algernon Herbert, a younger son of the first Earl of Carnarvon,
and died in Ickleton, Cambridgeshire.
