Step Seven: I zoomed back out to a fit-to-screen view (press the Z key again) and

added a Graduated Filter (M) adjustment near the top of the image. I decreased the

Exposure and Highlights settings, and increased the Shadows, which darkened the

exposure and reduced the highlights at the top of the photo.

Step Eight: I then selected the Radial Filter tool (Shift-M) and Command (PC: Ctrl)-

double-clicked on the photo to add a Radial Filter adjustment that was auto-centered

and filled the image edges. Near the bottom of the adjustment panel, I reduced the

Feather amount to 30, and then I applied a darkening Exposure, as well as a negative

Dehaze setting. The latter applied a soft-contrast, slightly misty effect to the corners

of the photo. This gave the photo the appearance of having been shot with a single

wide-angle lens with degraded optical quality toward the edges. Moreover, it helped

focus the eye on the central content.
