SADDLE SELECTION
Find your BBB saddle with the help of this overview. Each saddle is optimized for a specific posture, see images below. Further
selection can be done by looking at gender, saddle width and the level of padding. Mainly within the category City the level of
padding differs. In the category Touring there are male and female saddles and in the category Performance sit bone distance
is also an important factor to take into account. Visit your BBB dealer for a sit bone measurement.
CITY
The saddles in the category City are designed for cyclists
riding in an upright cycling posture and wearing non cyclingspecific
clothing. They are comfortable saddles for city bikes
and suited for short distances. The saddles in this category
with the addition “PLUS” are designed specifically to prevent
saddle sore.
TOURING
The saddles in the category Touring are designed for
cyclists with a moderate sportive cycling posture and suited
for riding in casual clothing as well as cycling shorts. The
padding is firmer than in the category City and therefore
ideal for trekking/touring or commuting. This year we
extended our PLUS range with more sportive Touring saddles
for just that bit of extra comfort.
PERFORMANCE
The Performance category saddles are suited for roadbike
and MTB. These saddles are designed for optimal
performance and minimal weight, but we are convinced that
increased comfort also increases performance. The width
of a saddle is the most important, therefore we supply our
saddles in multiple widths. Thus select a saddle suited for
your stature.
