Type MPI-53. VOC: 87 g/L. Gloss (60°): 0 to 5%.

AlKYD fInIsh
Apply two coats of velvet finish alkyd such as Sico Expert 883-series,
CGSB 1.202 Type I approved. Gloss (60°): 5 to 12%.
Apply two coats of pearl finish alkyd such as Sico Expert 886-series,
CGSB 1.202 Type II approved. Gloss (60°): 20 to 30%.
Apply two coats of semi-gloss finish alkyd such as Sico Expert 887-series,
CGSB 1.57 approved. Gloss (60°): 35 to 45%.
lAtex fInIsh
Apply two coats of low VOC eggshell finish latex such as Sico Expert
872-series, compliant with the Green Seal GS-11 standard. VOC: 40 g/L.
Gloss (60°): 0 to 5%.
Apply two coats of low VOC velvet finish 100% acrylic latex such as
Sico Expert 873-series, compliant with the Green Seal GS-11 standard and
CGSB 1.209 and MPI-44 approved. VOC: 125 g/L. Gloss (60°): 5 to 12%.
Apply two coats of satin finish latex such as Sico Design Chamois 712-series
(washable satin finish), compliant with the Green Seal GS-11 standard.
VOC: 0 g/L. Gloss (60°): 4 to 10%.
Apply two coats of low VOC platinum finish 100% acrylic latex such as
Sico Expert 874-series, compliant with the Green Seal GS-11 standard and
CGSB 1.209 and MPI-52 approved. VOC: 137 g/L. Gloss (60°): 10 to 20%.
Apply two coats of low VOC melamine finish 100% acrylic latex such as
Sico Expert 875-series. VOC: 147 g/L. Gloss (60°): 20 to 30%.
Apply two coats of low VOC semi-gloss finish latex such as Sico Expert
877-series, compliant with the Green Seal GS-11 standard and
CGSB 1.195 approved. VOC: 138 g/L. Gloss (60°): 35 to 45%.
Apply two coats of flat finish latex such as Sico Design Cashmere 711-series
(washable flat finish), compliant with the Green Seal GS-11 standard.

Apply one coat of primer-block filler for concrete block such as Sico Expert

Apply two coats of gloss epoxy ester enamel such as Sico Expert 603-series,
CGSB 1.59 approved. Gloss (60°): +80%
OR – Select a finish listed in No. 2.
OR – Apply two coats of 100% acrylic latex/urethane such as Sico 261-series,
CGSB 1.154 approved. VOC: 137 g/L. Gloss (60°): 20 to 30%.

Seal knots or sap streaks with a coat of shellac such as Sico 205-112.
Apply one coat of alkyd primer such as Sico Expert 880-114, CGSB 1.38
and MPI-46 approved, and two finishing coats (selected according to
the list in No. 2).
OR – Apply two coats of 100% acrylic latex/urethane such as Sico 261-series,
CGSB 1.154 approved. VOC: 137 g/L. Gloss (60°): 20 to 30%.
5. SYStEM FoR WoodWoRK to BE StAiNEd
WitH ALKYd
Apply one coat (or more if required) of pigmented alkyd stain such as
Sico 206-series, MPI-90 approved.
Apply three coats of urethane varnish such as Sico Expert 901-101 (gloss),
MPI-56 approved. Gloss (60°): 85 to 95%.
OR – Apply three coats of urethane varnish such as Sico Expert 901-106
(semi-gloss), MPI-57 approved. VOC: 137 g/L. Gloss (60°): 25 to 30%.
6. SYStEM FoR WoodWoRK otHER tHAN FLooRS
to BE StAiNEd WitH LAtEX
Apply one coat (or more if required) of pigmented latex stain such as
Sico 118-series. VOC: 111 g/L.
Apply three coats of clear latex varnish such as Sico 194-090 (gloss),
MPI-130 approved. VOC: 201 g/L. Gloss (60°): +80%.
OR – Apply three coats of clear latex varnish such as Sico 194-100
(semi-gloss), MPI-128 approved. VOC: 182 g/L. Gloss (60°): 35 to 45%.
7. SYStEM FoR GiViNG A NAtuRAL FiNiSH
to WoodWoRK otHER tHAN FLooRS
Apply three coats of urethane varnish such as Sico Expert 901-101 (gloss),
MPI-56 approved. Light sanding between each coat is recommended.
Gloss (60°): 85 to 95%.
OR – Apply three coats of urethane varnish such as Sico Expert 901-106
(semi-gloss), MPI-57 approved. Light sanding between each coat is
recommended. Gloss (60°): 25 to 30%.
OR – Apply the latex system with three coats of Crystalex clear varnish such
as Sico 194-090 (gloss), MPI-130 approved. Light sanding between each
coat is recommended. VOC: 201 g/L. Gloss (60°): +80%.
OR – Apply the latex system with three coats of Crystalex clear varnish such
as Sico 194-100 (semi-gloss), MPI-128 approved. Light sanding between
each coat is recommended. VOC: 182 g/L. Gloss (60°): 35 to 45%.
8. SYStEM FoR coNcREtE FLooRS
Apply one coat of alkyd floor enamel such as Sico Expert 603-series,
CGSB Type 1.73, to which 10 – 15% of Sico 875-104 thinner,
CGSB 1.4 approved is added.
Apply two coats of alkyd floor enamel such as Sico Expert 603-series,
CGSB Type 1.73.
9. SYStEM FoR pRiMEd oR uNpRiMEd
FERRouS MEtAL SuRFAcES
Apply one coat of zinc phosphate primer for metal such as Sico Expert
922-260, MPI-135 approved (for primed surfaces, touch up any bare spots).
Apply two coats of pearl finish alkyd enamel such as Sico Expert 886-series,
CGSB 1.202 approved, Type II;
OR – two coats of gloss finish enamel such as Sico Expert 603-series,
CGSB 1.59 approved;
OR – two coats of rust-resistant paint for metal such as the Sico 635-series
Corrostop Ultra.
