Making a Difference
Luncheon
In June, over 250 community leaders, sponsors
and advocates came together for our virtual
annual Making a Difference Luncheon to
recognize the power of CCFWG’s impact, honor
the work of public health nurse Patricia Yoder
and lean into a bold future for women and girls.
The event kicked off with entertainment from
Broadway star Mary Kate Morrissey.

Keynote Speaker Dr. Janet Dewart Bell,
renowned speaker, civil rights activist, and
writer, spoke to the connections among the
Civil Rights Movement, Women's Suffrage
Movement, and today.
Kitchen Table Award
CCFWG also presented Pat Yoder, public
health nurse and advocate for the underserved
in Chester County, with the 2020 Kitchen Table
Award, named in celebration of the many
conversations among CCFWG founders held
around kitchen, board room and coffee tables.
Keynote Speaker Janet Dewart Bell
In a touching video tribute to Pat, some of her
dearest friends and colleagues spoke to her
selfless heart and guiding presence as a leader
in Chester County. In her remarks, Pat
emphasized the importance of community and
how vital it is to the work we all do as partners
throughout the county.
