medical care upon arrival, like Pantera. When this sweet girl came to AHS as a
Hurricane Laura evacuee, she was suffering from demodex mites, a condition
that made her skin itchy. Thanks to our Sponsor a Pet donors, we were able
provide Pantera with the high-quality medical care she desperately needed,
and it was incredible to see her transformation. We are happy to report that
Pantera’s skin condition has healed and that she is happy and thriving with her

When this little guy came to AHS, he had a pretty bad injury on his lip. Our
medical team stitched him up, but the sutures put a lot of tension on Pop’s lip,
and pretty soon, they came out. One of our vets had a unique solution: she
brought in a button from home and attached it to Pop’s chin to relieve some
of the pressure! As you can see, Pop is now fully healed and has since been
adopted. Our Monthly Donors make these happy tails possible!
