Dear Fellow believers of AMKTMC,
I and my family greet you all in Our Lord’s Wonderful Name! May we take this opportunity to wish you all a
purposeful New Year 2021.
I am sure that you all had a meaningful celebration of our Lord’s advent season. We have entered into another
year. 2020 was not that of a pleasant year for all of us. But God has been so good. He had kept us through. God,
by His Grace, sustained His Church in the midst of a worst global crisis. We hope that the year 2021 will be a
year of peace, joy, provision and protection under His care and Control. Our future is in His Hand. The best
way to enter into 2021 is to begin with God. He will usher us in the midst of all uncertainties and unexpected
calamities. Let us continue trusting God in whatever circumstances we are placed in. He is the God from
“everlasting to everlasting. Ps 90:2
In the midst of challenges He can lead us to success. In the midst of Chaos, He can bring order and meaning to
life. In the midst of complexities and contrasts He can bring harmony and Joy. Let Our God Usher us into the
new - year. He will take us in the safe path.
God gave me another opportunity to serve you all. Journeying with you is a Blessing. To God be the Glory! I am
looking forward to your fellowship, support and all the encouragement during my term of ministry here.
God Bless you all.
Sincerely
Rev. R. Prabhu

About our AMKTMC Logo - Bro. Anton Moses
ur Logo is a reflection of our foundation, tradition, and our calling to be a loving Church. This logo shows
our connection to the wider Methodist Church especially the Methodist Church in Singapore (MCS)
Scripture
Bible is the foundation of our faith. The gold color shows the preciousness of Scripture.
The Heart
The heart represents LOVE. Our LOVE towards God and our LOVE towards neighbors based on Matthew 22:37-40.
The RED Heart (Warmed Heart)
The RED heart reminds us of the ‘ strangely warmed heart’ of John Wesley. The ‘strangely warmed heart experience’
led to the Methodist movement and eventually the Methodist Church. As Methodists, we all shall remember this.
The Cross
Jesus Christ connects our heart through the Cross to the Father above and others around us. The Cross has been
designed from the inside (heart) out. We as Christians should experience the Cross (Love of Jesus and Salvation)
within ourselves before bringing the Cross out (Love of Jesus and Good News) to others.
The Flame
The flame represents the Holy Spirit. Work of the Holy Spirit brings Scripture to heart. Gold color represents the
preciousness of Scripture. The gold color turns to orange color. Gradual ‘transformation’. The orange color turns to
red Finally the red flames that make the heart ‘warm’.
Church Name
The colors blue and red are chosen from MCS logo colors. The shorter English version is due to the design intent.

The Children’s Ministry @ AMKTMC
s the school exams were fast approaching, our official
Sunday School classes were winding down for the year 2020.
Children were being taught about the Birth of Jesus Christ the
Messiah which led to the season of Christmas. Every year,
Sunday School children will actively participate in the Church
Carol service with their melodious rendition. They will also
participate with joy in the Christmas evangelistic programs
conducted every year. This year 2020 took away all those
opportunities from our Sunday School children due to COVID
19 and the restrictions that came with it. But the Sunday School
teachers were not ready to give up in any circumstances. They
came together and started to plan for an online program where
all the children could participate with joy and bring glory to
God. They discussed with the students in their class and came
out with a beautiful plan. The plan was great and after running
through with the leadership of the church, it was a go ahead
towards execution. It was not easy to do a program online
because they had to pre-record items for their individual class
performance and also record Audio and Video for the grand
finale. It was not an easy task. This is where we need to give due
credit to all the parents for their active participation in helping
their children with the recordings. Since it was the first time
that all were doing a recording on their own, they had to
overcome technical challenges. By God’s immense grace and
mercies, we were able to finish everything just in time for the
program. On the program day, the children connected through
zoom and the church members joined us through you-tube. We
had a variety of programs from fun and meaningful games by
Bro Alfred, a puppet show and story time by Bro Chirstopher
from India, question and answer segment by Sis Gnanamany,
individual class performances, blessings by Pastor and the
church leaders and topped up with the grand finale.
It was such a joy and honor to conduct the program online
titled “The Perfect Gift”. What we all learnt from this episode
was that nothing can stop us from sharing the Love and truth
about the greatest gift of God, His beloved Son, Jesus Christ. We
would like to take this opportunity to thank every child in
AMKTMC Sunday school for stepping up and participating in
this program in spite of all odds. We would like to thank their
parents for their un-wavering support towards this ministry. We
would also like to thank the Pastor and the church leadership
for giving us this great opportunity to share the Love of God. I
would be failing if I do not thank the wonderful and dedicated
Sunday School teachers who put in hours of hard work to get all
the recordings done on time. Above all we thank God for His
Love, His Grace and His mercy. All glory be to God.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Sis Gnanamany
Philip who led the Sunday School ministry for the past 2 years
and who was a role model to all the children and who has
deeply impacted the kids to know and love God more in their
lives. Her passion and the love for this ministry will be greatly
remembered. We wish all of God’s blessing upon her as she
follows Pastor Philip who has taken up the new role of the
President of ETAC.
Continue to pray for the Sunday School ministry as we forge
forward to teach and explain the word of God and lead the
children to have a deeper understanding and relation with God.

AMKTMC WSCS - Fellowship of Indian Sisters (FIS) Christmas Fellowship
ach of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms. [1 Peter 4:10]
God calls us to serve others and bring His light to them. It doesn't matter if we give a lot or little to others. It is the heart that matters! In this world many
of us are filled with pain, anxiety, loneliness and with serious illness. Our small act of kindness can draw someone close to God. Kindness is doing
ordinary things with extraordinary love!
God pours on us the Spiritual as well as material blessings. Let's share these blessings to others, too. Sharing blessings is as simple as giving a smile,
having a conversation, an offer of assistance, cooking food, lending an emotional support to someone who is staying far away from family. But if anyone
has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? [1John 3:17]
Bringing Lord's love to others is a powerful act. Our GOD is a living God. HE is a loving God. Let's continuously be the mirror that reflects HIS love to
others. We can show our love to our friends, neighbours, even to strangers in many different ways. It could be through praying, giving our time, taking
them out for lunch or dinner. Opening our table to people is a pleasant way to bring them closer to God. Praying for others is an earnest way of showing
our love, making ourselves humble by kneeling or bowing down before God on behalf of them. A small act of sharing His love for others can make a
HUGE DIFFERENCE in their life. Inviting others for a simple lunch or dinner or for a refreshing tea is another pleasant way of bringing God's love to
others. It is a wonderful opportunity for us to leave the note that JESUS loves you! Your light must shine before people in such a way that they may see
your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven [Matthew 5:16]
Even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous of spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church - 1 Cor 14:12". As per God’s word, we
tried to help one another to build his church. Everyone we meet is carrying some kind of burden, just because someone carries it well doesn’t mean it’s
not heavy. So, we have planned to gather as a group and met each other for a fine Christmas lunch. On 20th Dec 2020, Witness & Evangelism team,
organized a Christmas party for our FIS sisters. It was extremely touching to hear that all the sisters were eagerly waiting for this Christmas gathering.
Our ladies with much enthusiasm received the sisters and with care and concern, listened to their sharing.
During the time of our meet, we shared the unconditional and eternal love of Christ who came to this world to carry away our sins, worries, anxieties and
to take care of our needs. Then we gave them a Christmas gift and an excellent lunch. Jesus told His disciples, “By this all people will know that you are
my disciples, if you have love for one another”-John 13:35. Fellowship will impact on unbelievers. Even after the Christmas lunch, we have our
love for one another to support the sisters toward faith in Jesus.
God led them in small different groups to different places and blessed them with enjoyable moments. One of our sisters opened her door and joyfully
invited the sisters. Cooking is one of the primary ways to show people that we love them. Five more sisters, grasped this opportunity to bring FIS sisters to
restaurants to get connected with them. Food is one of our love languages! The table is a place to remember the blessing of our LORD. It is a place of
connection and blessing. The sisters enjoyed the meals and recognized God's grace as they were around the table. They were engaged one another as a
family in Christ and embraced the moment of blessing!
Out of all the Christmas we have experienced, this year will forever be a cherished memory for each one of the women in WSCS. Opening our doors to FIS
sisters we have been ministering to and sharing the joy of the season has been a humbling opportunity to reflect God's love. Meals were cooked, gifts were
shared and happiness truly did dwell in the house, this Christmas.
To be able to bring joy to these sisters who work tirelessly day in day out, shoulder the financial burdens of their families and often suffering in silence, we
count that as a blessing.
It was a refreshing moment for all the souls gathered in for the Christmas celebration.
All GLORY to GOD!
But you, Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness. [Psalm 86:15]

- Bro Govind
President, Methodist Men
We Thank God for the opportunity to host the key
event “Christmas Fellowship Dinner” at three places
even in the Pandemic condition in Dec 2020. We
Prayed as a group and had a good discussion on our
past year’s activities and God’s grace among us. Our
church Pastor also joined us and we had the zoom call
to interact among the three locations of the
simultaneous dinner on December 28th.

AMKTMC - Fellowship of Indian Brothers (FIB)
ellowship of Indian Brothers (FIB) ministry is actively involved in reaching out to the Indian Migrant Workers
living in Singapore. Through this ministry, we conduct regular English and Computer classes enabling them to
improve their work and personal lives. This ministry is supported by a team of volunteers from our church.
Due to the pandemic, the activities in the FIB were low-key last year. Classes were regularly conducted through
Zoom Video Conference on Sunday evenings.
During the month of December, we got the opportunity from ETAC Board of Social Concern with the approval from
Ministry of Manpower (MOM), to conduct Christmas celebrations in 3 dormitories around Sembawang and
Woodlands. We , along with a team of volunteers from the church, organised games, activities and food/gift hamper
distribution in the dorms. Our Lord showed us the opportunity to share the story of Christmas through all the
activities. All the programmes had good turnout and reach in the respective dormitories.
We also conducted Christmas celebration for our own brothers from FIB on 20th December. On this day, through
the volunteers from church, we also distributed around 150 food packets to our brothers and their roommates by
visiting them in their dormitories. The Christmas celebration was conducted online and included songs, games and
also sharing by Rev.Philip Abraham. The program was well-received by all the participants.
As we usher in the new year, the FIB team is hopeful that the ministry can operate normally with classes restarting
on our church premises and personal interactions with our migrant worker brothers resuming.
CHRISTMAS JOY DRIVE
| 7 |
“Glory to God in the highest; peace on earth, good will to men.”
s Laity, we organised a “Christmas Joy Drive” program
to rediscover the marvels of love and Joy of Christmas by
sharing, caring and serving as a beacon of hope for those in
need. The Christmas Joy Drive encouraged our Church
members to identify a needy family, invite them to their
homes, spend time with them and give them a grocery bag
as a token of love and sharing during Christmas. Moreover,
as a Church, we identified the needy families around our
Church premises and were able to help around 70 families with grocery support. Many members volunteered for this
program and by the grace of God, we have delivered grocery bags to their homes. Thank God for giving us a blessed
opportunity to celebrate Christmas with One Mind and One Spirit. All the Glory belongs to God.
