Client’s LC Requirement
▸ Our Client, Mr. Martyn Barnes, one of the leading
industrialists in Dubai decided to import copper
millberry scrap from India.
▸ For this, they required Letter of Credit on behalf of
their company & in favor of their Indian supplier.

Client’s Challenge to Get LC MT700
▸ As the client has already used their bank facilities,
they can’t able to get the bank support to open LC
from their own bank account.
▸ Also, since the world’s economy is under recession,
they didn’t want to invest their working capital for
this new deal.
▸ So, they searched for some other option to get the
required LC on their company’s behalf.

Client’s Visit to Our Office in Dubai
▸ Mr. Martyn Barnes, the client who required LC came
to know about us via one of the broker in Dubai.
▸ The client visited our office in Dubai along with
their broker to discuss more about their LC
transaction.
▸ The client signed the service agreement and paid
the service charges on the same day.

Our Process in Letter of Credit Issuance

After receiving the service charges from the client,
we started to work on their LC transaction by
coordinating with our bank.
We sent the LC draft for the client’s approval. The
Client approved the LC draft and paid the LC
issuance fee charges.
We instructed our bank to issue the required LC
to the supplier’s bank via SWIFT MT700.
