Dear Theatre Arts Patrons ~
Welcome to River Place Student
Theatre’s 13th production
Frozen, Jr.
Frozen Jr. is a magical story of true love and acceptance between sisters.
When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the
powerful bond of sisterhood. Prepare for your heart to melt! As the story
unfolds, you will meet an endearing cast of characters who join Anna in
her journey to find her sister Elsa and save their Kingdom of Arendelle.
Ultimately, Frozen is about the power of family and its unbreakable bonds
-- we hope you feel all the love the River Place Student Theatre family
(made up of a talented cast of hard working elementary students and
more than 70 dedicated adult volunteers) put into producing this show for
you.
I want to extend lots of warm hugs and a very special thanks to Ivonne
Mercado for her devotion to instilling a love of the arts in hundreds of
children and the outstanding success of the organization for so many
years. Her continued leadership this year has been invaluable. RPST has
continued to grow because of countless amazing volunteers, like Ivonne,
who have selflessly given their time and talent to benefit the organization.
Please know, RPST is forever grateful.
RPST’s high caliber shows would not be possible without dedicated
volunteers. On behalf of the RPST Board of Directors, I want to thank
this year’s amazing volunteer teams for creating RPST’s unique brand of
theatre magic. To my fellow Board members, many of whom are serving
their last year, thank you for giving so much time, love and support to this
program. To Dionn Schaffner, who we are incredibly blessed to have as
our amazing volunteer Creative Director, thank you! Your artistic vision
is the fuel that inspires all we do. You are the heart and soul of the show
and an outstanding role model and teacher. Congratulations on your
10th anniversary with RPST! Finally, I want to thank Miss Ruthie, our Vocal
Director, who is celebrating 5 years with us. Ruthie is a talented vocalist,
wonderful teacher and inspiration to our cast.
