ROBOTICS
2018-2019 High School FTC Robotics team
consisted of Alyssa R., Franklin E., Alan A.,
Edwin M., Daniel F., Donald J., and Jevonte
R., and coach Mr. Harrell. We competed in
competitions in Denver, IN and Griffith, IN. We
placed 21st out of 32 in Denver, and 17th out
of 29 Griffith. In one competition, we received
the Motivate Award for excellent interview skills
with FTC judges. Students worked extremely
hard to compete for these robotics competitions
and hope to achieve more in the years to come.
PLTW
In the 2018-2019 school year, we offered Engineering and Biomedical Engineering classes.
In the upcoming 2019-2020 school year, we also added Project Lead The Way (PLTW)
Cybersecurity class. Project Lead The Way is a nonprofit organization that empowers students
to develop and apply in-demand, transportable skills by exploring real-world challenges.
