GRADUATION
Parents and students stand during the
procession at IMSA North High School
graduation. 85.7% of the IMSA North senior
class graduated with their Core 40 diploma.
In May 2019, IMSA North held their kindergarten
promotion ceremony to honor the kindergarten
students as they completed their first year as scholars.
IMSA North received a federal grant through
the 21st Century Community Learning Centers.
It is the only federal funding source dedicated
exclusively to supporting local afterschool,
before-school, and summer learning programs.
Knight’s Club, IMSA North’s Afterschool
Enrichment Program, is specifically designed for
students in need of extra help and remediation
in math and reading. The program operates
Monday - Thursday from 3p.m. until 6 p.m.
Girls on the Run (GOTR) is a North American
non-profit program that works to encourage preteen
girls to develop self-respect and healthy
lifestyles through dynamic, interactive lessons and
running games, culminating in a celebratory 5k
run. Mrs. Stephen’s, 5th grade teacher at IMSA
North, leads a group of IMSA girls in the GOTR 5k.
