pyramid-shaped tea infuser was designed by American product designer
Peter Hewitt to allow loose teas to swell as they steep. Inspired by Japan’s rich
traditions and frustrated with the status quo of Western tea drinking, Hewitt’s pyramid-shaped
silken infusers were created to give higher-quality “whole leaf” teas a
chance to shine in a way previously unattainable via traditional flat tea bags.
