story,andthemagicoflivetheatre.Thepandemichascertainly<br />
changedthewayweconnectandhasforcedustolookat<br />
theatrethroughanewlens.<br />
Welostthenalshowofour2019/2020seasonwiththe<br />
cancelationof“MammaMia!”.Optimisticalywemoveditinto<br />
our2020/<strong>2021</strong>seasononlytoseethatcanceledaswel.We<br />
then askedourselvesaveryimportantquestion:Howwilwe<br />
createtheatreinatimewhereassemblyisnotsafeandtheatres<br />
areclosed?OurHolidayPantomimeshoweduswhatwasandis<br />
possibleinutilizinggreenscreens,onlineplatforms,and<br />
rehearsalsonzoom.Thecompleteoppositeoftheprocessto<br />
createlivetheatreandyetitwasmagicalanditwastheatre!<br />
Wearepleasedtopresenttoyouour<strong>2021</strong><strong>Virtual</strong><strong>Season</strong>.This<br />
“pause”onlivethatrehasgivenustheopportunitytofocuson<br />
newworksandnewvoices.Voicesweknowwilresonateloudly<br />
inthetheatreworld.Firstupis“SortingitOut”whichtakesa<br />
hardlookatintolerancetowardsanindividualwithadisability.<br />
NextisourNewPlayFestivalfeaturingsixnewshortplaysthat<br />
weredevelopedlastyearwiththeguidanceofaprofessional<br />
dramaturg.Ourlastshow,“AlTheWorld’saStage”,isacabaret<br />
styleshowthatdelvesintotheworldandworksofoneof<br />
history’sgreatestdramatists,Wiliam Shakespeare.Acolection<br />
ofsongsandscenesfrom multipleartistswilhaveyouseeing<br />
Shakespeareinawholenewlight.<br />
WehavedecidetomakethisseasonFREEsothatitcanbe<br />
accessibletoal.Insteadofdependingonticketpurchaseswe<br />
havecreatedanongoingfundraisertohelpussurvivethrough<br />
<strong>2021</strong>.Anydonationhelps.Staypostedtondoutsomeofthe<br />
otherfunwaysinwhichyoucansupportus.Ourpromisetoyou<br />
isthatwewilcontinuetoentertainandcreatethecommunity<br />
oftheatre.<br />
