The Phantom and the Fastback are two brand new NFPA 1977 compliant wildland fire packs from True North Gear. These packs feature a brand new<br />
ergonomic hip belt and “Y” strap design with single-point attachment to the center back for adjustment for increased heat stress prevention and<br />
maximum comfort during long shifts and feature a new black & gray two-tone color scheme, giving an overall sleek, and more minimal look & feel.<br />
True North ® Fastback Pack<br />
The Fastback is the ultimate NFPA 1977 compliant fire pack for carrying “just the essentials.” This<br />
makes it perfect for firefighters who are constructing fire lines, monitoring projects, reducing fuels,<br />
performing burnout operations, and more. Streamlined design maximizes heat stress reduction, offers<br />
comfortable fit, and durable dependability.<br />

True North ® Phantom Pack<br />
Weighing in at 1 pound lighter than the leading competition, the Phantom sets out to be one of the<br />
leading, and one of the most light-weight wildland fire packs for hotshots. This pack is ergonomically<br />
designed to carry enough gear for shifts lasting a few days or more, while still retaining maximum<br />
comfort and reducing spinal load/heat stress.<br />
The Phantom is truly the one-size-fits-all of wildland packs. It is large enough to carry essential gear<br />
including a fire shelter, fusees, extra clothes, etc, while remaining light-weight enough to use on a<br />
long, physically-demanding shift that requires large amounts of hiking.<br />
