Jesus tells us in Mark 16, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized shall be saved ...” (Mark 16:16). In Acts, we see that the apostles all followed Jesus’ instructions. Peter, for example. He was the first to preach the gospel on the day of Pentecost. When the people asked him, “What shall we do?” Peter tells them, “Repent, and let everyone of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38). And this is what we see in the book of Acts. When people believed the gospel of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they got baptized. How about you? If you haven’t been baptized yet, get baptized. And if you’d like to help others get baptized, this book will give you the necessary tools and revelation knowledge to help them.

We can conclude that people who got<br />
baptized made a confession of faith,<br />
like the royal official from Ethiopia in<br />
Acts 8.<br />
35 Then Philip opened his mouth,<br />
and beginning at this Scripture,<br />
preached Jesus to him.<br />
36 Now as they went down the<br />
road, they came to some water.<br />
And the eunuch said, “See, here is<br />
water. What hinders me from being<br />
baptized?”<br />
37 Then Philip said, “If you believe<br />
with all your heart, you may.” And<br />
he answered and said, “I BELIEVE<br />
THAT JESUS CHRIST IS THE SON<br />
OF GOD.”<br />
38 So he commanded the chariot to<br />
stand still. And both Philip and the<br />
eunuch went down into the water,<br />
and he baptized him.<br />
And that they called on the name of<br />
the Lord during baptism, like Ananias<br />
