Simonson Purchase 4 smartboards and LCD projectors for the 6th Grade Classrooms at Falcon Heights. FITNESS IN THE 21ST CENTURY $1200.00 Parkview / Jeff Eklund Purchase a Play Station 2 video game system and DDR video game with 2 dance pads. The goal is to find new and innovation ways to help students understand the importance of physical activity. R LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD $1,800.00 Parkview (district wide) / Jayne Early Work and learn with guest conductor Mark Johnson to help foster leadership skills and build community spirit. This will help retain and motivate students to continue their music studies. VERNIER SENSOR PROBES FOR SCIENCE CLASSES $2,500.00 Roseville Area High School / Kathy Mielke Purchase various sensor probes to use with the Vernier LabQuest system. The Venier LabQuest system was purchased with a previous Foundation Grant. These systems are similar to those used in labs across the country and will give students access to scientific technology. PHOTOGRAPHY IN THE DIGITAL WORLD $3,200.00 Roseville Area High School / Margaret Finnegan Purchase updated digital cameras to be used in Photography II and III classes. ELL’S:BUILDING BACKGROUND, BUILDING LANGUAGE $995.16 Roseville Area High School / Roger Kerbage and Martha Mason Miller Currently ELL (English Language Learners) Students at Roseville Area High School use the same textbooks as the rest of the students in their classes. This would allow the department to purchase some lower proficiency textbooks to aide ELL Students. They would also purchase Dry-Erase World Boards to help when teaching geography.
