Pennarin Point
A walk along the Roseland Peninsula following
the South West Coast Path from the Place
St Anthony Head, Porthbeor and Towan Beach.
Gul Rock
1 Take the Place Ferry from St Mawes to Place
2 Follow the pathway towards Place Manor and
take the right turn behind and follow the pathway
through the church and up the hill.
3 Take the lower route once you go through
the turnstile and follow the pathway around
the peninsula until you reach Porthbeor (more
instructions on the Roseland Ramble Walk p52)
4 Follow the coast path past Towan Beach and
then on to Portscatho, a perfect spot for lunch
or a snack.
5 Walking up the hill to Gerrans Church. Passing
the church turn left and follow the signs to the
car park, carry on along the lane passing Treloan
Farm towards Porth.
6 From Porth follow the signs that will take you
along the shores of Porth Creek to North Hill
Point.
7 From here you turn and follow the path which
runs alongside the Percuil River back to Place
Creek.
