What did you do to stay<br />
connected as a team during<br />
the pandemic?<br />
During the pandemic we have run all sorts of<br />
different activities including:<br />
- A weekly ‘happy hour’<br />
- Training sessions for chefs in the kitchen with<br />
our local suppliers<br />
- Masterclasses for all of the dishes in the menu.<br />
- Training in food cost and food pricing, recipe<br />
formatting.<br />
- International cook-off masterclasses<br />
- Supporting Manorfield Primary School<br />
- Monthly departmental to give updates on hotel<br />
operations and business.<br />
- Running hotel-wide Zoom call competitions<br />
covering; pizza-making, cake-making, pancake<br />
day, cookies and many more.<br />
In addition, as part of our We Care initiatives we<br />
have made regular welfare calls to the whole team.<br />
