SWA [Hybrid] Event – in conjunction with World Water Day Behind the scene: Brave Blue World This event is brought to you by DuPont, SUEZ and Xylem 17 March 2021, Complimentary, Webex The behind-the-scene premier of Brave Blue World, organised by the Singapore Water Association and presented by Dupont Water Solutions, SUEZ Asia and Xylem Singapore, was successfully organised on 17th March 2021 with 100 participants. The event was organised in conjunction with Singapore World Water Day. A group of 30 attendees dressed up in BLUE to support the excellent initiative by PUB as well as attended the screenplay of the globally acclaimed documentary which was followed by a 30 minutes panel discussion with Mr Kunal Shah (Anaergia), Mr Koh Chong Hin (Xylem), Mr Farchard Kaviani (SUEZ) and Mr Halim Suntanto (DuPont) to support members and water companies through knowledge sharing and exchanging of water expertise. SWA Webinar: ISRAELI Digital Water Technologies Jointly organised with Ministry of Economy and Industry, Israel and PUB Singapore Water Exchange 24 March 2021, Complimentary, Webex Singapore Water Association and the Israeli Economic and Trade Mission to Singapore co-organised a complimentary webinar on Israeli Digital Water Technologies on Thursday, 24th March 2021, from 4:00pm to 5:30pm. This event was supported by PUB, Singapore’s national water agency. Five Israeli companies showcased their Smart/ Digital Water Technologies and solutions to about 50 attendees. In addition, there was a B2B e-networking. SWA/SgWX Water Utilities Series: Digitalization of Shenzhen Water Group: A way to more efficient water and wastewater management 29 March 2021, Complimentary, Webex Globally, water utilities are moving towards digitalization to address external challenges, such as rapid urbanization, impact of climate change and increasing customer demand. This webinar showed how Shenzhen Water Group uses digital solutions to improve the water resources management in Shenzhen City, China, as well as the upcoming projects that are being planned.
ZOOM Talk: Let WATER be thy Medicine 31 March 2021, Complimentary, Zoom In determining the bioenergetic quality of water, we look at the structure (shape) and energy (vibration) of the water. Recent discovery of applying Terahertz wave on purified water significantly alters the structure and energy of water molecule. Dr Koh Lam Son and Mr Bryan Chew spoke on how Terahertz water is beneficial, healthy and positive for the use or function for which it is applied. This sharing session is organised by NTG International. UPCOMING SWA ACTIVITIES SIWW 2021 (Spotlight & Online) 21 June to 2 July 2021, Singapore Singapore International Water Week (SIWW), World Cities Summit (WCS) and CleanEnviro Summit Singapore (CESG) will take on as a hybrid Summit & virtual Water Convention and Water Expo this year. • SIWW2021 Spotlight Will take place on 21 June 2021 as a hybrid high-level water Summit for leaders in governments, utilities, academia and industry to discuss and prepare the water sector for emerging challenges ahead, such as climate change and the pandemic. • SIWW2021 Online Virtual Water Convention and Water Expo will be held from 22nd June to 2nd July 2021 on our digital platform to allow global leaders, experts and practitioners to connect, share and learn from one another in a safe environment. This virtual event will also feature thematic webinars and workshops, technical sessions, product showcases, and a marketplace.
