INSPECTION DRIVES
Let’s keep the neighborhood looking nice. Please maintain regular
mowing, maintenance of yards and flowerbeds, mold removal from
siding and keep your lot free of clutter. Please also remember to remove
your trash can for storage out of public view after trash collection.
If you have additional questions, all governing documents can be found
at SpectrumAM.com under the tab community info and documents. Your
Spectrum Site Manager will be performing inspections twice monthly.
MAKING HOME IMPROVEMENTS?
As a reminder, all exterior changes or additions to your home MUST be
applied for by the homeowner and approved by the Aberdeen Green
Homeowners Association prior to performing any work on the project.

STREETLIGHTS
Please report any lights that are out, blinking or on during the day. Part
of your annual Homeowners fee pays for your streetlights, whether they
work or not. If a light is out in your area, please call 713-207-2222 or go
to www.centerpointenergy.com/outage and report it. Each light pole
should have a 6-digit number on it. When reporting the light, you will
need to provide the pole number and closest intersection or address. We
want all our lights to work… a well lit area is a safe area!
WCA TRASH AND RECYCLING
Aberdeen Green has a trash can sticker policy. Only cans that have a
sticker facing the street will be picked up. Bills will be mailed quarterly
and there will be a new colored sticker that will come in the mail after
the bill has been paid. Trash bags left at the curb without a trash can
with valid sticker will not be picked up. Recycling will be picked up on
Thursdays but only when the sticker on the trash can is visible. Any
questions can be directed to WCA Waste at 281-368-8397.

Camp Hope is our three week, day camp for children ages 5 years-old
through 6 th grade. It is an adult-mentored, student-led ministry. Each day
children will hear a new bible story, learn what it means to their life by
eating a snack, playing a game and experiencing the story through the
arts, STEM and worship.
Camp Hope is a day camp that is passionate about growing leaders. This
is one of the reasons that Camp Hope is one of the BEST ways to develop

PLAYHOUSE 1960 SUMMER CAMP
During these two week camp productions, students will participate in a
variety of acting games, exercises and improvisations which will develop
their creative expression. Since we limit our enrollment to a smaller
group, students benefit by being more active and challenged during
the production. Campers are guaranteed casting, speaking role, and will
learn audition. They will also learn the basic elements of theatrical set
and costume design and how they contribute to the overall effect of a
live theatre performance. Students will rehearse music, choreography
and scenes for their production. Students will learn how to use their
voices on stage. There will be 2 public performances at the end of the
camps. Camps include: Public full stage production performance, cast
pizza party, camp t-shirt, snow cone party, dance parties, good ole

HOUSTON’S HEROES AWARDS LUNCHEON
Celebrating its 40 years of service to Houston and Texas, Crime Stoppers
of Houston will host its annual Houston’s Heroes Awards Luncheon on
Tuesday, May 4, 2021 from 11:30 AM-1 PM at the Royal Sonesta Houston
Hotel to honor outstanding individuals and organizations who have
given exemplary service to make Houston a safer place to live, work, learn
and play.
Due to the public health threat from Covid-19 and the current health and
safety protocols, we will offer both an in-person event with limited seating
as well as virtual access for sponsors and supporters to participate from
home. While Crime Stoppers had to cancel this event last Spring due to
the pandemic, the organization is unable to do so this year and reminds
the community that it relies on this event for funding. Eight distinguished
awards will be awarded at this annual fundraiser that raises funds to keep
our communities safe. For the second year, Crime Stoppers of Houston
will reveal the winner of the Dave Ward Media Excellence Award.
