In the Garden: My wildlife-friendly woodland garden has been both a
sanctuary and inspiration throughout the spring and summer of 2020.
Hand-painted glassware, decorative hanging tiles, printed cotton bags and
lavender bags will be on sale in the summerhouse studio.
Acrylic paintings of the local landscape, ink drawings and prints of fossil
forms, alongside a variety of craft items by local artists and makers will
complete an interesting exhibition in the house.

Pottery Garden: Chris Lewis
Chris Lewis, Ceramics | Myth & Magic, A special exhibition
New ceramics by Chris Lewis, and a special exhibition of artefacts relating
to Myth and Magic in our gallery.
The garden will be at its best this year, due to the later date of the festival.
Come and enjoy delicious lunches and teas outside amongst the exhibits.
The exhibition will continue for an extra weekend, 3rd & 4th July.
Established in 2005, Chalk is one of the first artist-led cooperative
galleries in the UK and is a well-loved destination for art lovers, embedded
in the culturally-rich county town of Lewes. We are showing approximately
80 new works of art by our 16 artists in a variety of media, styles, subjects
and techniques, including paintings, mixed media, digital art, ceramics,
glass, sculpture and original prints.
Open Thursday to Sunday weekly, plus Bank Holiday Monday 31 May.
