Mia Rose Miller is an 8-yearold
2nd grader at Dr. John
Grieco Elementary School.
She began performing and
singing when she was
only 2 years old. Her
mother is her biggest
inspiration, and she truly
encouraged Mia Rose to
perform in Englewood Idol
this year. She loves and appreciates all
types of music, and she comes from a very
encouraging, musical family. She wants to
give a special thanks to her mom and dad
for all they have done for her and all the
talents they gave her, and a huge thanks
to God for blessing her with great parents.
During this year’s Englewood Idol, Mia
Rose is so excited to showcase her
tremendous singing skills!

Her favorite food is donuts
She knows how to play piano,
can swim, and draws all kinds of
designs.
If given the chance, she would
love to meet Pocohantas in real
life because she admires her
strength and encouragement.
If a genie granted her 3 wishes,
she would wish for no more
homeless people, be famous, and
have many Robux in Roblox.

Isaac Broadie, aka Lil Chain Boi
is a 12-year-old 6th grader at
Janis E. Dismus Middle School.
He started his musical journey
when he was only 8 years old.
His biggest inspiration is
Nipsey Hussle, as Isaac
believes he was so talented
and admired that he rapped
about real life while also
helping others. His favorite
type of music is hip-hop, and he has a true
passion for the impact of music on others! Isaac
wants to give a huge thanks to his super
supportive family, especially to his mother that
always bought him the equipment he needed
and believed in him! He would also like to thank
Mrs. Aronson for giving him the chance to
perform in Idol this year. During this year’s
Englewood Idol, Isaac is so pumped to
showcase his rapping skills!

Isaac’s favorite food is mac and
cheese.
He knows how to DJ as well as
drop some sick beats.
If given the chance, he would love
to meet Spongebob in real life
because he believes he is hilarious.
If a genie granted him 3 wishes,
he would wish for a million
dollars, live in a mansion, and
perform on stage with Lil Baby

Ange’Lay Chaney is a 13-yearold
7th-grader at Janis E.
Dismus Middle School. She
started performing and
dancing when she was only 6
years old. Dancing has always
been a passion of hers, ever
since she watched people
dance and perform on TV and
admired their talent, beauty,
and peace. Ange'Lay's favorite
type of music is pop music, and she loves to dance.
She is super grateful for her family and everything
they do for her in helping her achieve her musical
dreams! She would like to give a big thanks to
Mayor Mr. Wilde, her mother Commissioner
Chaney, her father Kaiser, the staff of
Englewood Idol, her teachers, her support
system, and her Englewood of Jesus Church
family! Ange’Lay is super pumped to showcase her
dancing talents at this year’s Englewood Idol!

Her favorite food is burritos
She is one active girl, playing various
sports, including basketball, gymnastics,
and volleyball
She enjoys baking and trying out
different hairstyles.
She has a Black-owned business called
“Meet the Beauty,” where she aims to
help all those in unjust situations, face
domestic abuse or bullying, aid with
suicidal prevention, help homeless
children, and reduce gun violence!
If a genie granted her 3 wishes, she
would wish for a lifetime supply of
money, a dance scholarship, and a
dream vacation to Japan.

Ange’lina Chaney is a 10-year-old
5th-grader at McCloud
Elementary School. She began
her musical journey when she was
only 6 years old. Her biggest
inspiration for her musical career
is her cousin Danielle V. Chaney,
who sadly lost her life in a gun
violence incident. Danielle was
also a previous contestant in a
past Englewood Idol, and Ange’lina derived a lot
of appreciation for music from her. She loves slow
and inspirational music, and her favorite
instrument is the harp, though she appreciates all
music. Ange’lina comes from a family of naturalborn
leaders, superheroes, and very unique
individuals. She would like to give a huge thanks
to her mother, family, support system,
godmother, and community for all the help they
gave her! She is excited to showcase her singing
and rapping skills by performing an original song
during this year’s Englewood Idol!

Some of her favorite foods include
apples, seafood, mac and cheese,
ICEEs, swiss rolls, fried eggs, salads,
and PB&J sandwiches.
If a genie granted her 3 wishes, she
would wish for more wishes, unlimited
money to invest in her doll business,
and save helpless children.
She is a huge fan of Anime
Her loving great-grandmother just
turned 95
She loves to draw, write, play and
write music, act, play tennis, make
crafts, and shoot bow and arrows.

Ava Black is a 9-yearold
3rd-grader at Dr.
Leroy McCloud
Elementary School. She
began her musical
journey when she was
only 5 years old and
went to her very first
tap dance class. From
then, she fell in love with dance and
performing. Ava’s favorite type of
music to dance to is pop. She would like
to give a big thanks to her mother,
Ms. Jasmine, and Ms. Humphrey for all
the support she got from them! Ava is
thrilled to be able to showcase her
dancing talents during this year’s
Englewood Idol.

Her favorite food is mac and
cheese
If given the chance, she would
love to meet Ariel from The Little
Mermaid so she could ask her how
it feels to move so majestically
through the water.
If a genie granted her 3 wishes,
she wishes to be a human and
mermaid hybrid, live in a mansion,
and be a famous tap dancer.
She loves to do gymnastics and
makeup in her free time
She has a twin brother

Millie Bethany Ochoa is a
7-year-old 1st-grader at
Dr. John Grieco
Elementary School. She
began performing at The
Performing Arts School
and during the summer
camp at BergenPAC. Her
biggest inspiration is the OMG Dolls.
Millie's favorite genres of music are rock
and pop music and occasionally classical
music. She would love to give special
thanks to her parents for always
supporting her and planning a super fun
7th birthday sleepover with her cousins.
Millie is beyond excited to showcase her
singing talents at this year's Englewood
Idol.

Her favorite foods are steam dumplings,
shrimp, and anything from McDonald's.
If given the chance, Millie would love to
meet Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie from
My Little Pony because she loves these
funny and cool characters.
If a genie granted her 3 wishes, she
wishes to meet her 3 favorite Youtubers:
Green Bear from Kidtimesstorytime.com,
Brian from Brian Toys Review, and Jojo
Siwa.
She loves to dance, make art, and play
the piano in her free time.
Her favorite pastimes are playing
makeover, getting dressed up, putting
on makeup, and facetime with her
cousins.
Millie loves her cousins dearly.
Her favorite subject in school is Art.
She aspires to be an Art teacher when
she grows up.

Khloe Yates is a 10-year-old
5th-grader at Dr. Leroy
McCloud Elementary School.
She has been dancing ever
since she was a baby but
officially started performing
and taking formal gymnastics
when she was 5 years old. Her
biggest inspiration is her
mother, who is always playing
music, encouraging her kids to
move and play with the beats, and get up and
get active in music. Khloe’s favorite genre of music
is emotional, when people pour out their feelings
and hearts into music, and when you can truly feel
that emotion when you listen to the music. She
wants to give God and her family a huge thanks
for all the love she has gotten throughout her
musical journey. Khloe is super excited to be
showcasing her singing at this year’s Englewood
Idol.

Her favorite food is crab legs

meet Mal from the Descendants
because she was the life of the party
If a genie granted her 3 wishes, she
would wish for all her family’s wishes
to come true, to become famous, and
to be a good singer.
She loves boxing and doing arts and
crafts
She is so grateful for her whole family
and for all the unconditional love and
support of her dreams she has gotten
from them
She truly believes family always comes
first.

Florian Bellanger is a renowned
pastry chef known for his role as a
permanent judge on the Food
Network’s Cupcake Wars. Bellanger
has also been a judge on Celebrity
Cupcake Wars and Cupcake Wars: Kids.
Bellanger’s love for food manifested
itself at an early age, so he knew that
his career would take a culinary path.
As a child, Bellanger spent his free time
baking in the kitchen for his family.
Although a childhood allergy to
chocolate ironically prevented him
from relishing such treats for nearly 6
years, he outgrew it and passionately
dedicated himself to the art of pastries
even more. He was formerly the executive pastry chef at the
world-famous Parisian pastry and candy shop, Fauchon.
Bellanger is currently the chef and wonder of Mad Mac
Macarons, an acclaimed French cookie and pastry company
in NYC. When asked to share his thoughts about the John
Grieco Scholarship Fund, Bellanger responded with ,”I think
it is important to give students a chance to do what they like
best - it motivates them and gives them the opportunity to
discover new talents.” Forian Bellanger has been an audition
and contest judge for Englewood Idol for many years and is
our longest-running judge on the show. He is our Senior
Judge for this year’s Englewood Idol and we are honored to
have him back for another year of Englewood Idol!

Robert Bannon is an
accomplished and lauded
cabaret singer and “Saturday
Night Live” actor. He has been
dazzling audiences on the stage
and screen for years, his
emotive and powerful vocals
and knack for comedy bringing
people by turns to tears of
emotion, laughter and elation,
and always to their feet. Robert
Bannon has been singing since
he was 12. He is a graduate of
the William Esper Conservatory and Juilliard Prep,
both in Manhattan. Bannon was admitted into the
very first Juilliard Prep class for musical theater
under the direction of Broadway icon Bertin Roswer
at Lincoln Center. A Fort Lee, New Jersey, resident
and native of Ridgefield Park, New Jersey, Bannon
spends his "downtime" from singing and
performing in the classroom as a 5th grade history
teacher in North Bergen, New Jersey. We are so
excited and honored to have Robert Hannon judge
this year’s Englewood Idol.

Jabari Amir Jones is an all
around artist, being a
professional actor and
performing artist in singing,
song-writing, and creativewriting.
He received his
Bachelor of Arts in English
Language and Literature from
Morehouse College in 2007,
and went on to receive his
Master of Fine Arts in Acting
from Columbia University in
2010. He can be seen on various television
projects, including being featured on “Pose,”
“American Homicide,” “FBI,” “Bull,” &
“Saturday Night Live.” He is a writer who is
currently creating his own short film called
“The Transition”. He hails from Atlanta,
Georgia but currently resides in NYC, and is
constantly looking for opportunities to share
his art and skills. We are honored to have
Jabari judge in this year’s Englewood Idol.

DJ Absolut is an actor and
performing artist in
multiple sectors. He is
founder of his own blog
www.takethisserious.com
where he and Addicted 4Life
crew give their perspective
on entertainment and how
it should be viewed. He also
has many songs that he
collaboratively created on
SoundCloud, including
“If It Ain’t One Thing” with DJ Absolut
Feat. Prodigy, AZ, Capone, & Tragedy
and “All We Know” including Swizz
Beats, Ace Hood, Ray J, Bow Wow & FAT
Joe. DJ Absolut also frequently works
with Warner Music Groups in New York
City and has many bookings in the area
for his music. We are honored to have
such a talented and experiences artist
judge this year’s Englewood Idol.
