THE GREAT CONQUEROR
W
e candidly interviewed Madhuri and coaxed her into divulging some of the
stories of her life. Discussing her journey wasn’t easy as she’s a tough nut to
crack. While walking through her memory lane we came across intricate
moments that we didn’t knew. She surely knows how to keep things hidden
unless and until asked about it cunningly. Let life exploration begin!

'Traveling — it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.'
Madhuri is a fun person to be around. At times she is a bit
weird and keeps nagging for things that can be resolved easily. But nagging
doesn’t stop her from achieving her dreams. For a moment she will feel low
but within a day or two, she bounces back to her routine. There are moments
when she feels extremely low and requires counselling from my end to ease
her 24/7 running mind. But I enjoy doing that with her as she tolerates my
hyperactive nature without uttering a single word.

She is an explorer and loves taking a stroll along the beaches. At times you will
find her sitting alone and observe the shore and sea nudging each other. Those
are the moments when she’s lost in her deep thoughts and doesn’t like to be
disturbed. At times you will find her cycling along the beaches and admiring the
beautiful sunrise and sunsets. Not to forget, she’s also a water baby who enjoys
scuba diving, swimming and all kinds of water sports. Dishonest and backstabbers
beware as she cannot withstand such people around and blasts them inside out.
Whenever you are out with her make sure you include her in everything as she
doesn’t like to be singled out. No one would like that for sure.

Exploring
Hodophiller’s Mind
S
ince Madhuri is a wanderlust we decided to dig deep into her travel
diaries which are filled with bitter-sweet memories. The notion of travelling
conceived at an early age and till date she has completed countless treks,
short & long trips. Voila! She has forgotten the count. But the story doesn’t
stop here. We are about to give you some details from her trips with some
stellar pictures. Here we begin with Hampi!

VISITING THE RUINS OF
ampi
T
he quaint place has
been a tourist spot since
ages and is home to vast
monolithic sculptures and
monuments. This
historical attraction
attracted not one but
four traveller geeks from
Mumbai. I too was asked
but I declined the offer
due to my busy schedule.
Yeah, I’m one big busy
woman!

For the next 3-4 days, Madhuri, Ruchin, Mrudula and her mother had a
blast in Hampi where Madhuri and others felt the scorching heat of the
fiery hot sun. There she enjoyed being blessed by the gigantic elephant
named Laxmi. Next, they went on a crazy 2 km coracle ride which
looked nothing less than an upside-down umbrella river ride!

With beautiful
memories etched
forever in her
heart, she plans
to visit Hampi
again, but solo.

Gokarna
A TRIP TO
A water baby since
birth and a lover
of South Indian
cuisine, Madhuri
has mostly covered
the southern belt
of India.

H
er trip to
Gokarna was
for 3-4 days
with Ruchin and
Shubham. Here
again, she
walked along
the pristine
beaches and
gave a glimpse
of her iconic
pose by sitting
in front of the
vast Arabian
sea.

Udaipur
DIARIES
T
he Udaipur trip was planned amidst the starting of
the corona pandemic. The whole and sole purpose of
the trip was to enjoy the grand Holi celebrations in
Udaipur. Of course, she’s never alone on trips like this.
She always has her best buddy Mrudula
accompanying her on her crazy journeys.

F I R S T S O L O T R I P
GRAND CANYON OF INDIA
A duo trip that suddenly turned into a solo trip.
Though hesitant she completed her long due desire
of completing a solo trip. When asked how she felt
about it she says, “I feel proud as I thought I could
never complete a solo journey, but I did it. I’m
happy and I’ll travel solo more often”.

GOD’S OWN COUNTRY
WELCOMES OUR MADHURI

This is the longest trip in the history of Madhuri’s travel list.
She loved Kerala and covered maximum places with her friend
Reshma in 8 days. If she gets a chance she might lead a life of
solitude in Kerala admiring its lush green natural beauty.

This was an

trip to Goa. There
she explored the
Goan cuisine and
historical places on
a hired scooter.

This woman wants to cover unlisted 45
countries trips. We hope she completes it
and her plans are set in motion soon. If
the pandemic ends by 2021, then we will
find her swinging on the giant swings
attached to giant palm trees in Bali. Next,
we can see her strolling around the crystal
clear beaches, scuba diving, and exploring
historical places.

She’s the closest
friend and her
travel partner for
life. They both
share an
inexplicable bond
which is tighter
than the fevicol
and won't break
easily.

Nausheen
They met at Techved where Madhuri had just returned from the client-site.
From 2017 till date she harasses Nausheen to the core and is expecting her
to join her on future trips. Nausheen on the other hand is a busy woman
who keeps declining poor Madhuri’s travel offers, ALWAYS! But Nausheen
has promised to join Madhuri on her future travel trips. It's 2020 and
Nausheen’s ‘ONE DAY’ is yet to arrive!

She is Madhuri’s very
own personal doctor
cum friend with whom
she spends a lot of
time. Nivedita is
headstrong and
manages her clinic
single-handedly
making Madhuri
admire her even more.
They both are
partners in crime and
friends for life.

You are one of the rarest
gems from my personal
treasure trove of friends.
You are clever, honest and
talk straight to the point.
You are a young and
jovial woman whom I
adore the most. Unlike
others, at a tender age,
you understood your
responsibilities and
succeeded in doing that.
Not all can conquer a
roller-coaster life and
attain success. You went
for it and did it. There are
times when we all go
through rough phases, you
went through it and
bounced back. My only
wish for you is that you
remain unstoppable and
soar greater heights.
