SUBJECT: READING AND WRITING II (B)

The devil in I
In a faraway village, where magic could be controlled by people, each of the villagers
was given a staff that represented the nature of their magic. In that place a child
named Arias was born, when he grew up, he could not use the magic, no matter how
much he trained, his efforts were in vain.
Arias went to the forest to train everyday but one day he went deeper into the forest
that he couldn't find the way out. The time passed, the night came and in the dark a
silhouette with red eyes and a dark smile spoke and said “I do not perceive magic in
your being, if you lend me your body as a container you will be stronger than any
other magician” Arias frustrated for not being able to be like the others, accessed his
to do so, then the silhouette entered his body. The muscles of Arias began to grow
and become stronger, now he was able to use dark magic and with the guidance of
the voice of the demon he was able to leave the forest and return to his house where
no one was waiting for him because he was an orphan.
The next day Arias was determined to enroll in the wizard academy, and to enter he
had to perform a test where he would face several magicians to be chosen to protect
the kingdom. In the first fight he faced a royal knight named Aleand that with his
silver staff could use necromancy magic, his rival was Alvrion who with his crimson
staff could control the blood.
In his duel, Aleand summoned a dead human with animal parts and ordered him to
attack Alvrion, who with his staff cut his hand and formed a shield with blood and a
sword with which he attacked and cut off the dead man's hand, then Aleand
summoned more dead men and they held Alvrion's hands and feet and the dead
man managed to pierce his heart, showing that this battle was not a selection battle
but a battle royal.
The next fight was between Arias against a hooded obscure man, whose staff
allowed him to summon crows. Arias, who apparently only possessed brute strength
could not approach because many crows were attacking him and he was still not
able to use the magic of the demon that possessed him, however, he realized that
when the crows attacked him the wizard ran out of energy. So, he decided to receive
all his attacks and when the wizard was too tired, he hit him with all his strength,
stamping him against the wall and this ended his combat.

Five rounds of combat passed and the last to survive the duels were Aleand and
Arias. The judges seeing the brutal battles and decided that the winner would be the
next head of a faction, Arias was worried because he knew that he was unable to
defeat the necromancer.
The duel got started and Aeland summoned his strongest death warrior, “Goliath of
the eternal path”, Goliath has a force able to destroy entire buildings, if he reached
to Arias, he would be surely destroyed, Arias dodged his frenetic attacks, but when
he was cornered, goliath broke his arms, making him cry in pain, it seemed to be
end for the poor boy, but the demon invaded his body and mind, and claimed “you
were wrong when you attacked my container, I , Luciferino , will destroy your
existence completely”.
And with a red fire that came out of his mouth, he calcined Goliath and his summoner
Aleand. Luciferino came back inside the boy and he fainted, arias had won the battle
royal and the judges of the tournament took him with a healer magician.
After a week he finally awake, his arms were healed and his energy was recovered,
at the middle of the day, Arias was taken to the winter kingdom square, where he
was assigned as the captain and boss of the dark order. His mission as captain was
to guide his disciples and protect the kingdom, his disciples were, Flareon, magician
of the fire staff, Varona, magician of the moon staff, and Vanhell, magician of the
dark staff.
The capital was attacked, and their first mission as a faction, was to defend the
people and destroy the invaders. Apparently, the invaders were spies of the lawless
kingdom, owners of the earthly magic, able to domain time and space without even
use a staff.
The Arias’ faction found the spies and began the counterattack, Flareon had to face
Raoh, who he attacked with a whirlwind of fire. The spy, with a snap of his fingers,
made the oxygen disappear and locked himself with Flareon in a space domain
where it was impossible to create fire. In 5 minutes, their battle was over, and there
was no doubt that Flareon was not breathing anymore.

Varona confronted the spy named Satori, a controller of blades created from airborne
particles. With the moon staff, Varona made it rain meteorites, one of them was able
to crush in half Sartori's body, and with his last breath, the spy pierced Varona's
heart with a blade.
The last invader went to Arias and said “Luciferino, you have fled the world of devils
to possess a weak human, I feel shame of you”.
Arias, perplexed, replied “I do not know who you are talking about, but I will not allow
any more ally to be killed”.
The invader with much vanity said to him “Don’t you remember me? your king,
Diaboros… then I will make you remember”.
Without any moment more for conversation, Diaboros in a melee attack, hit Arias in
a barrage of blows that sent him flying through the surrounding houses, the town
was on fire, and all the magicians had gone. Dying Arias seemed to have reached
the end of his short life.
But Vanhell appeared out of nowhere and tried to help him, even so, Diaboros in an
instant took him by the neck and led him towards Arias "I will make you come out of
that body one way or another" said the demon king.
And he proceeded to kill Vanhell. Arias got up beaten and full of blood, his anger
made Luciferino wake up, who possessed 100% of Arias's body and fought against
Diaboros. "My name is Luciferino, magician of the dark words, with my words I can
end this world". Diaboros replied “You dared to leave my kingdom, and now you dare
to face me, your punishment will be to die eternally, get ready!”
Chanting prayers in dead languages, Lucifer burned the entire kingdom and black
flames began to come out of the demon king's body. Diaboros only laughed, and
threw bloody swords piercing Luciferino into Arias's body.
"The body of your human is totally destroyed, and the town that he was supposed to
protect no longer exists" said the demon king

Luciferino smiled and replied "You're right, I'm bored of playing with humans" and
then left Arias's body lying on the ground.
Both demons returned to their dimension. Arias among the fire that consumed the
capital, full of blood and almost lifeless, had nothing but his tears, in the last cry of
frustration he told himself. "If only I had trained and had not been seduced by the
power of this devil, my friends and the people would still be here"
The town, his friends, and Arias disappeared into the ashes. The only ones who won
by satiating their boredom were the demons.

Author Biographies
My name is Alexander Antonio Cruz Claros, I am just 22 years old, I live in San
Miguel, El salvador, I was born in 1998 in El Salvador. I am a student of a very known
university called Universidad de Oriente. I am studying to become a teacher so I took
a Bachelor Degree of English.Personally talking about me, I like to waste my time
playing videogames, watching anime, changing the setting on my devices. I am
really good using technology.
Alvaro Eli Chavarria Melgar was born in the city of San Miguel, Department of San
Miguel, of the country El Salvador, He is a student in the recognized university
UNIVO, studying the career of bachellor degree in English, and he is planning to
complete successfuly his career in english, Plannig in a future be able to travel and
live in other country.
Heberto Yadir Picado Castillo was born on January 9th, 2000. He lives in San
Miguel of the country of El Salvador and is a Salvadoran student at the University of
UNIVO, He is studying a degree in English language. He only focuses on his studies
and his work and he is 21 years old, Yadir is a person who really likes to read books.
