Hello! My name is Barbara Lawrie
and I have been in the graphic design
and printing/publishing fields for a long
time...these pages and paragraphs will
show just how long!
It’s that dreaded time again to look for
a new contract position! If you have a
minute, I’d like to tell you a bit to keep you
interested...
As a lifelong equestrian, it was my privilege to start my
own freelance design company in 2005 with the aim to
provide multimedia design to equine related interests.
Working with website designer/programmers, copywriters,
and printers, we created a multi-tiered approach to
internet and print advertising, marketing and membership
communications for associations and businesses in
a wide range of industries. In addition, I work closely with
printing companies to manage the production, proofing,
printing, and fulfillment of our projects.
Now it’s getting wordy, I know, but as a specialist in
print design and production, it’s been fun applying my
imagination and skill to producing dynamic materials,
magazines or otherwise, that clearly communicate my
client’s messages. Those same clients have described
me as proficient, flexible and easy to work with. Past
experience includes managing
substantial annual design
and printing budgets, directing
fulfillment activities and supervising
creative staff.
My skill set has proven invaluable
with design, production
and fulfillment for print and
online publishing of magazines,
brochures, newsletters, books, programs, and direct mail
campaigns that provide the knowledge and creativity to
meet your needs.
