Agape prepares for tourney trip

anxious as every body else to see if
Agape, unbeaten in its league and
only twice defeated all season

wants to use the tournament to
put Agape on the map.
"Moat people don't want to
play us,'' said Anleitner, who
knows, because he's tried. "We're
so small and we're not well eetab
lished."

But the Wolverines are well
coached. What they do. they do
well Their problem will be adapt
ing to a conaiatently higher level
of play and doing it in a hostile
environment.
While they play half their
games in regular sited gyms, they
practice and play home games on
a carpeted door in a tiny room
that's part of the church.
That will begin lo change next
season, however, when Agape
moves from its Ann Arbor Trail
home south a few miles to Michigan
Avenue The school is moving
into an old elementary building
— one with another tiny gym,
which current plans call for replacing
in a short time.

the time Our main emphasis is
on the kida, God, family, academ
ics — and then baaketball
"We're hoping for expoaure
from the district tournament.
We'd like other schools to say.
Hey, that's a nice school to play.
They've got good kids and are
good competition."*
It's like most coaches try to
teach their kids: winning and loaing
isn't as important as how you
go sbout it.
