Welcome BOOSTERS 2023-24 

Greetings! 

I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to you for the 2023-24 

school year. It gives me great pleasure to witness the spirit and 

enthusiasm that the Athletic Booster Club brings to our school 

community. Your dedication and support play a crucial role in 

fostering a culture of excellence in our athletic programs. 

The Class of 2023 earned $17 million in scholarships to colleges 

and universities across the nation, with more than 80 student-athletes 

committed to competing at the college level. Our MVA Eagle teams have 

won 19 National Championships, along with a multitude of State, Regional 

District & Conference titles; and have produced more than 100 graduates 

who have gone on to play professional sports. 

At Montverde Academy, we believe in the power of sports to teach valuable 

life lessons, instill discipline, and build character. Your unwavering support 

directly impacts the experiences of our student-athletes, enabling them to 

reach their full potential on and off the field. 

I encourage each of you to actively participate in the club’s activities, attend 

games and events, and engage with our student-athletes. Your presence 

and encouragement mean the world to them, serving as a reminder that they 

have an entire community rallying behind them. Together, we can create an 

environment that fosters a strong sense of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and 

achievement. 

I look forward to a successful partnership with the Athletic Booster Club and 

witnessing the positive impact we will make on our student-athletes’ lives. Thank

BEHIND THE TEAM 

The purpose and mission of the Montverde Academy Athletic Department 

is to fulfill the Academy’s mission through competition. Through athletic 

opportunities, student-athletes build a solid foundation based on character, 

knowledge, and community. This foundation is a direct extension of the 

lessons learned in the classroom on a daily basis. 

We expect our student-athletes to be model citizens in the community 

and exemplary representatives of the student body, their families, and 

the Montverde Academy community, on and off the field of competition. 

It is our objective for the entire MVA community to demonstrate good 

sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, fair play, and athletic integrity 

at all times with an awareness of how our actions can impact the 

behavior of others.

IMPACT 

The Montverde Academy Athletic Booster Club members are a key element of 

our athletic programs, providing the critical donations that support the programs 

for student-athletes to compete among the nation’s best. 

Booster Club Members’ generous donations have provided yearly support for 

the athletic awards banquets and travel to numerous competitions. In addition to 

support for events the booster club has purchased innovative equipment for various 

sports to ensure they receive the highest level of training daily.

- Hyperice recovery equipment, Clarius diagnostic ultra sound, Game Ready unit 

sleeves, SAGA blood flow equipment for training room 

- Double Destro towers for swim program 

- Video equipment for lacrosse 

- Championship rings for state and national champions

- Travel accommodations and fees for boys and girls tennis, baseball, girls soccer, 

and softball
