LETTER FROM THE ATHLETIC BOOSTER CLUB PRESIDENT
WELCOME TO
THE 2021-22 YEAR!
Greetings!
Thank you taking time to learn more about MVA’s Booster Club. I’m Kristen
Paulsen, Booster Club president and member. Our family has been Booster
Club members for a number of years because it has been a great way for us
to support and connect with the MVA community. We love cheering on our
teams! I’m grateful to Harold Mills, our immediate past-president, for his many
years of amazing support of MVA Athletics, and hope to continue his legacy of
excellence.
The Montverde Academy Athletic Booster Club is a key component in the
fundraising efforts that advance our athletic programs, positioning every team and
student-athlete to compete at this highest level possible. As Harold so eloquently
says, “the Athletic Booster Club’s support is a game changer, making the seemingly
impossible – possible.”
The athletic programs at MVA are world class, the Class of 2020 earned nearly $5
million in scholarships to colleges and universities across the nation, with 65 studentathletes
signing National Letters of Intent. Our MVA Eagle teams have won 14 National
Championships and produced more than 59 graduates who have gone on to play
professional sports.
The Booster Club plays a critical role in the success of all MVA athletic teams and
student-athletes. Every donation, regardless the size, is an investment that helps our
teams compete, provides advanced equipment needed for elite performance and facility
improvements that ensure we are the Academy of choice for top athletes who strive for
excellence in pursuit of their dreams.

BEHIND THE TEAM!
The purpose and mission of the Montverde Academy Athletic Department
is to fulfill the Academy’s mission through competition. Through athletic
opportunities, student-athletes build a solid foundation based on
character, knowledge, and community. This foundation is a direct
extension of the lessons learned in the classroom on a daily basis. We
expect our student-athletes to be model citizens in the community and
exemplary representatives of the student body, their families, and the
Montverde Academy community, on and off the field of competition. It
is our objective for the entire MVA community to demonstrate good
sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, fair play, and athletic integrity at
all times with an awareness of how our actions can impact the behavior
of others.

IMPACT
The Montverde Academy Athletic Booster Club members are a key element
of our athletic programs. Our Boosters provide the critical donations that
support our programs, providing state-of-the-art training equipment, funds
for entry fees and travel expenses for teams to compete, upgrades to our
Athletic Complex to enhance the audience experience, and more.
Booster Club members are extremely active and generous, they truly make
a difference in the lives of hundreds of students as well as the broader MVA
community. Booster Club donations provide the necessary academic and
athletic tools for student-athletes to compete among the nation’s best, while
also generating excitement and school spirit at games and tournaments.
Your contributions play a critical role in the success of all MVA athletic teams
and student-athletes. Booster members’ support, regardless of the size, adds

of your gift may be tax deductible. Your tax deduction may be reduced
by the value of donor benefits received. You will receive a gift receipt
from the Montverde Academy Athletic Booster Club for your charitable
contribution. Please consult your tax advisor to determine the tax
implications of your donation.
Memberships are nontransferable and are intended for individual or family
use only. If a membership is being used by a corporate entity, individual use
is based on the company’s discretion.
